John Singer Sargent was a well-known American painter and watercolorist. Sargent had carried out a large amount of art work which includes portraits, watercolor paintings, nature based scenes, travel scenes and impressionistic stroke of artwork. John Singer Sargent was born on 12th January during the year 1856, at Florence (Italy) in a place called Tuscany. His parents were Americans, Fitzwilliam Sargent and Mary Newbold Singer. Soon after their first child’s death they travelled to Europe to come out of their terrible loss and they got settled as expatriates. So this made Sargent to spend most of his life at Europe. John Singer Sargent had his artistic talents exhibited at very young age. Out of his interest in artwork, John Singer enrolled himself in art classes at the Accademia delle Belle Arti, Florence. Admired by his artistic skills, John’s father had decided to start together to Paris by 1874 in a decision to make his son’s art journey established in a full-fledged manner. Carolus Duran, a young art teacher of John had taught him how to get into canvas artwork by means of a paintbrush. After 1876, John Sargent had travelled a lot and learnt a lot about art work during his journey. After which John has embedded several travel scenes that he had come across during his journey in many of his artwork. John exhibited several of his paintings in Salon from the year 1877 to 1882. After spending most of his life time in paintings, John has passed away at his age of 69 by April 1925.
